I really like this place. The food is very good. They need to do a better job of communicating times when they will not be open. I have gathered groups of people from work to visit for lunch multiple times to find out they are closed with a piece of paper on the door. Would be 5 stars if this did not happen on multiple occasions.EDIT: I did not realize they utilized Facebook as a way to know if they close for the day or not. 5 stars now, if you don't check that (like I didn't) it is your own fault. It is a small business and putting family first is something I can get on board with.

Delicious food, big portions, reasonable pricing.

When they say spicy they mean it. An extra hot order burns like a dragon's mouth on the 4th of July. Only the brave or stupid should venture into their Thai level heat dishes.

I LOVE THIS PLACE. I am from Detroit and it’s very hard to find good food around here especially thai food. The staff is so lovely. The food is great. The restaurant is always clean. best thai in Kalamazoo no question. only think is they don’t put utensils with your togo order (I wish they did that) I always have to ask twice. But the food and service is so good I don’t care

Went here for my daughter's birthday. The food was great except for the hair that was on our appetizer and the second hair that was on my daughter's main dish. Hard to enjoy dinner under those circumstances. Our waitress didn't really go out of her way to make it right. No apology from manager or owner. Will not go back:(

Really solid Thai food. Sometimes you may have to wait a little extra on a to go order, but it's worth it. Faves include the peanut curry noodle and the Pad Thai

Awfully incompetent staff, 2 out of 3 times my order is wrong. Staffed fully with young probably first time servers and it shows.. Nice food, decent quality. Also be very sure ask and double check you’re getting VEGAN items if you need/order them.Just make sure you are checking your food before walking out with your togo orders or anything like that. Unfortunately I don’t much enjoy having to ask for something more than once, being walked past multilateral times by all staff on the floor. Will continue to eat here but hope it gets better.

This is my favorite restaurant in Kalamazoo. Peanut curry noodle is my go to dish. So good. Portions are generous, even at lunch. Service has really improved lately.

A pretty good Thai place! Me and my partner ordered take out, the timing was right on. We got two vegetable spring rolls, an order of peanut curry tofu, and an order of masaman tofu. The spice levels were a little weak. But that's not a bad thing, I always get a lower spice level when trying a place for the first time to see how they rank their spices. Overall the food was pretty good. The tofu surprised me since it wasn't fried like most places, im guessing it was boiled. I really liked my masaman. The vegetables were cooked to perfection in both of our entrees. I was not a fan on their take of peanut curry but my date loved it so, all's well that ends well. I'll definitely be going back.

Delicious! So glad I finally found out about this place. I had a spicy ginger beef stir fry and it was awesome! Great tea selection. You better check it out!

Great food! Easy online ordering, timely curbside pickup. Highly recommend spring roll and peanut curry mild + for spice and I like spice.

Delicious food. The taro bubble tea is a little weak on flavor, but strawberry was amazing.

Food was good. The portion sizes were big. The Thai iced coffee is good. The atmosphere was bland and uninviting. Service was okay, but we had to ask for silverware and our checks after some waiting. Wouldn't recommend.

The boba tea had no milk and no ice. Just strange. The food is delicious and consistent. Go early for lunch because it becomes a cafeteria for Stryker.

The food here is so flavorful. You will eat too much just to have more. The staff is some of the friendliest and helpful I have ever encountered.

Oh my god this place!! It’s bliss! I love love love their peanut curry, veg curry, veg fried rice and curry pad thai! It’s a burst of flavor that makes you very very happy! 😁

Thai hot+!! This is in my regular rotation for work lunches. They have awesome food, my favorite is the rainbow fried rice. You have to be sure to get in a bit early, as Friday lunch time gets really full! This is a small family owned operation- you may want to call ahead to verify that they are open today! I've tried to go in and found them closed for vacation, family issue, etc. But when they're open, they're great!

My coworker took me there. I ordered the Pad Thai half tofu, shrimp. Best Pad Thai EVER!! Generous portion. Absolutely delicious!! I will be bringing in my family. You folks will be needing a full sized restaurant soon!!

Great food, amazing service

Staff is super friendly. Food is small portions but taste pretty good. I wouldn't get the bubble tea again. It's like $7 for a small mason jar filled with mostly ice and it tasted like the powder mix. Other than that, great place!

Good pad thai and above average fried rice. But order took way too long. Still way too long!Edit: On two occasions the ice coffee is thick and sour. Please have some quality control for your beverage.

Food was amazing, service was decent. It said on the receipt that there is a 6% discount when using cash, and we did not receive the discount (which I have gotten every time I pay with cash.) We were planning on the discount so we didn't have the money to give a full tip (which we would have, had we gotten the discount.) Then the waitress refused to take our tip because it apparently wasn't good enough. It wasn't a good way to end the experience here. After all this, we probably won't return for a while. Hopefully next time is better.

Wait staff is always on point, the food is fresh and good. Most importantly, you can get it legitimately Thai spicy (if you want) which is always a plus for me!

Great variety and pretty much everything on the menu tastes great! Would at least rate their Pad Thai, Massaman and Curry Fried Rice as their best. Service and prices are good enough and the prices seem even better at lunch times. Being an Asian restaurant, you wouldn't be let down by their vegetarian options as well.

I love Thai food so much, and this is one of the best I’ve found. I appreciate that they are a family run business and will close for family emergencies. For people posting that they find them closed for no reason, they often update their Facebook page if they’re unexpectedly closed. Lunch time is a big rush time for them, but they always get orders out quick during those times!

This is my second time to come here. The staff is great, but the food was too much salty. I tried lemongrass steak. However, I felt like I was eating salt, not the beef.

Their peanut curry noodle is the best! They serve Authentic Thai food, love this place. Should try their Sticky mango rice with coconut milk as well, it is amazing! (I believe only during summer) Overall good food good service. 😊

My Daughter wanted to try this Cafe for her Birthday. The service was amazing and the food delicious. The atmosphere was superb.

This is my girlfriend and I's favorite place to grab Tai. Food is always delicious and the staff is always super kind and personable. I would easily place this spot as the best Tai restaurant in the Kalamazoo area.

First, Izzy gave us fantastic service. Second, the food was amazing, including the house special and the mango sticky rice (which is seasonal). Finally the prices are very reasonable given the quality and quantity of food. The owner is nice, too!

I like the taste of food. Service and staffs are friendly. However i think the portion is a bit small for the price paid. I would give 4.5 stars because of this.

We love Thai food, but not when there is hair on not one, but two of our dishes! One would think that once we let the staff know about a hair in our appetizer, the cooks and wait staff would take an extra second to make sure no hairs would make it to a main dish........ Nope! You would be wrong. My daughter picked this spot for her birthday dinner and don't you know it was her dish that got the second hair! The staff remade the dish ( so the birthday girl ate alone), but never offered to adjust the bill and never took any responsibility for the mess. Probably won't go back...

This used to be the place to go for pho soup. Not anymore. So salty. Not good. Will not be back

Green Curry was excellent. Simple quick food service.

Beef panang tasted like pot roast with curry paste plus lacked quantity in the actual curry. Rice was bland and portioned not enough. Not at all authentic. If you like it, congratulations you’re a fan of the Thai Panda Express.

We love Thai food and this place was so good. The staff was very nice and professional. The pricing was very reasonable and the dishes were massive. The chicken satay was off the charts and the portion was way larger than I expected. The Thai ice tea was delicious but we should have bought the smaller serving as the larger option is enough for 2 people to share. We will definitely be going back to this place when were are in Portage again.

Wow...reading these recent reviews horrifies me. Been coming to this place for years and had a terrific experience just tonight so thought I’d leave a review. Always order the pad Thai chicken hot and never disappoints. Come here with my wife and kids and are always satisfied. Kids love the satay and Bangkok fried rice. Never tip our server less than 18%. I’m no “local guide” but I’d think if I were one I’d know better than to stiff the waitress.

Beef Pad Thai hot (5/8 on the spice scale) was bland. portion size was great but the flavor was missing. Will give this place another shot but will definitely order something different.
